About
Built from the inside of how leadership teams actually run.
Jenny François · Founder
For nearly twelve years inside a Fortune Global 500 consumer technology company, I worked at the center of four sales and marketing organizations spanning national sales, product marketing and retail account teams. My work was making strategy run: setting the rhythm leadership decided in, turning loose priorities into owned plans, and keeping cross-functional work moving between teams that didn't report to each other.
I've also developed and led people. From 2018 I ran onboarding and ongoing coaching for new team members across the division, more than a dozen a year. I directed a two-week sales academy for cohorts of 30+ new hires, partnering with HR, Finance, Legal and Compliance. And I rose to National Vice Chair of an employee resource group, leading executive-facing programs for 150 to 180+ attendees.
I completed all requirements for a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership in October 2026, with every course at Exceeds Proficiency. I build my own decision-support tools with AI every day, so I know where it helps and where it gets in the way.
Most teams don't have a strategy problem. They have a system problem that makes good strategy impossible to execute.
How I work
Three principles that don't bend.
Evidence-led practice
Recommendations draw on work I have run and on current research, sized for a team your size rather than borrowed from a much larger company.
Systems thinking
Look at the system, the incentives and the skills before assigning blame. When the system is fixed, people get their time back.
Honest claims
Clear scope, defensible advice and no inflated promises. If something isn't worth automating or building, I'll say so.
The name
Atelier Nine Four
Multifaceted by Design
Atelier is French for a working studio: a place where craft is practiced seriously, over time. Nine Four is a personal signature. Together they describe how I approach operations: as a craft, built carefully for each team, by a specific person who stands behind the work.
Multifaceted by Design is the promise underneath both. The studio is built to hold more than one kind of work, the way the people who run things rarely do just one thing. Strategy & Operations is its first practice. Other chapters will open over time, one at a time, each when it's ready to be done well.
